Paralegal
About Mia
Mia is an insurance and personal injury litigation paralegal with almost 20 years’ experience in Queensland. She began her journey in law in 2005, working as an office junior for a Brisbane-based law firm which specialised in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She then joined the CTP insurance team in 2006 as a legal assistant, working alongside the team to assist in defending a range of claims from catastrophic injury claims to more routine-based claims. In 2011, Mia joined the public and products liability team as a paralegal, assisting in the resolution of various claims including professional indemnity, property & ISR, and nervous shock and dependency claims.
In 2023, Mia joined accident legal as a paralegal, bringing a wealth of experience and working alongside the team to help resolve personal injury claims. She thoroughly enjoys claimant-focused law and has built a strong rapport with the clients she assists, ensuring they are supported every step of their claim.
When Mia is not in the office, she enjoys time with her family, including her partner and 2-year-old son, cooking, reading, and relaxing on a lazy Sunday with a cheese platter, a glass of wine, and a movie.
